Happy National Oatmeal Month! LOL, yes that is a thing! With the colder weather there is something about a baked breakfast dish that warms me up in the morning! I came across a recipe for a baked dish and added a few enhancements…and it was a hit to say the least!!
This dish is so fast to prep, you mix everything in one bowl and then pour into a baking dish. About 20-25 minutes later your new favorite breakfast will be ready!
Not only is it a fast recipe, it is also not loaded with sugar and fat. I used unsweetened almond milk and sugar free maple syrup. The protein powder also added an extra protein boost. Between the berries and the oatmeal, this bake will you keep you full and satisfied until lunch!
This oatmeal bake recipe makes about four servings with about 210 calories per serving (if you don’t add in protein powder.) We had leftovers and they were just as good the next morning…plus it was already prepped so all I did was heat it up with some almond milk in the microwave for about a minute! You can always switch the berries or use more or less of a certain berry. Let me know what you think!
