Good MORNING!!!! It is here- Week 1 of the #holidaysweat challenge!! I am so excited to participate in this challenge and be a part of such a great and motivated group of individuals across the globe! I checked out the Facebook community this morning and it was so awesome to see how many people really want to make an effort to keep it balanced this holiday season and how motivating and ENCOURAGING they are! I came up with my goal and then went online to check out Facebook and WHOA!!! There are some truly motivated individuals out there and their motivation definitely leapt off my screen! I rethought my minute goal and came up with 350 minutes this week.
Right now my typical workout week includes 3-4 barre classes, 1-2 strength classes and then 1-2 days where I will do a workout that I have in mind for a future class. I want to keep this system, but I also want to go past my comfort zone and try something new at least once a week. A new format at the gym or a new class around town. Yoga is something that I hear such amazing things about and one that I need to add in to the mix. Do you have any classes that you recommend?
Yesterday morning I tried the Les Mills class BodyAttack for the first time and WHOA! It was 60 minutes of strength and endurance exercises!!! I was impressed by the class participants too. It was at 8am on a Sunday morning and they gave it their all! It was very motivating and of course pushed me a little harder too!
