I know I may be late to this party, but I just discovered a great store Six:02! The last time I was visiting Dallas I had an hour to kill at the Inwood Village and had planned to stop in to this store to see what they had. When I first walked in I soaked up the boutique feel of the lay out. The inventory wasn’t messy it was easy to navigate and the sale area didn’t feel too “sale-y.” I was greeted in a timely manner and asked if I had ever been into the store. I let the sales associate know I hadn’t but I liked the selection. A lot of what I saw in store were items I had only seen online. While I like to shop online for its convenience, I prefer to touch fabric and try on to see how items will fit and fall. (it must be the textiles and clothing major in me :)) She told me they were a new concept from Foot Locker! I told her I thought it was great because it didn’t look like a big box chain store and asked where the other stores were located. There were several in Dallas and San Antonio, but Austin wasn’t on the map just yet.
I did a walk through every section of the store from the Nike Tables and t stands, to the shoe wall. They had a similar set up to lululemon with the pants. They had a form with the pant or capri on and then below had every color and print available in that style organized by size in cubby holes. I was able to go right to my cubby and decide if the print or color I liked was available. They had just received a new shipment of goodies so finding my size in what I wanted was not an issue.
I tried on a few tops and capris and tried on my go to Nike Pro capris as well as new to me brands. As I finalized my selection, two tops and one capri, I made my way to the register and the check out process was seamless. I also got a nice surprise, everything I found was actually on sale! I really liked everything about the store, most sale items were marked with a red sale tag, and most sizes were represented on the sales floor. You can find what I bought here, unfortunately the capris and tank I found are sold out on line, but you can find similar styles here and here.
After I left the store I quickly jumped on their site to check out what else they offered. After signing up for their emails and referring them to a friend (my mother of course…Christmas is in less than 6 months and its never too soon to drop hints) I received a 20% off coupon! I found a few things that I wanted/needed – a new pair of running shoes (which are now on sale!) and a new tank (also on sale!) My items were shipped to me and I received them in no time, including an offer to try Graze for the first time.
Have you visited the store? What was your favorite part of your experience?
